Time.com’s photo collections are certainly no Big Picture, but I don’t hold that against them, especially when they compile a collection of  photographs like these, all made by blind artists:

Time’s blog introduced me to the images but I found that the University of California Riverside gallery actually has the entire collection available for viewing. The photos are all incredible, blind photographers or no.

They also have a quotations section:

The matter isn't how a blind person takes photographs, but rather why he would want images.
Evgen Bavcar (Featured Artist)

Why do I need my eyes more than another?
It seems to me they never focused anything.
I console myself purely and simply with the thought.
Samuel Beckett

I’m grateful for Samuel' Beckett’s remark, as it is exactly what I was left with after viewing these images.
